This past week was a bit chaotic for me personally. An extremely busy work week didn't leave a lot of time for photography outside of the long hours. Sometimes, that's just how it goes.
What presented me over the weekend was a local Dachshund Parade. This particular oddity has been going on for 18-years. Hundreds of wiener dogs turned out for a mini festival with costumes, as their human parents did much of the same with various sayings on their shirts about how they "love their wiener." I brought my Leica Q2 for this outing with a few friends, one who has a little mini dachshund. I wasn't particularly searching for the theme, but my eye gravitated towards some images that utilized this week's composition challenge.
My "diagonals" image presented itself during this outing, after a week long stress over finding the time to make an image for the challenge.
Huh. Funny how that works.
