This past week had some contrast to what I described in last week's round-up. I was on the road for two nights, traveling for work. The drive to Cleveland is just shy of 4 hours, and there is some peace being in your car alone, cruising on the open road, listening to some tunes. The drive to and from was a bookend for some very busy work days between.
Around this trip, mornings on the deck with some coffee, light starting to peep between the trees. A much welcomed summer oasis is finally here in Rochester. Towards the end of the week I attended a game for our local minor league baseball team. The entire day had rain, so the game going forward was anything but certain. It happened to clear up right before first pitch, and the evening was a peaceful one at the ballpark with some moody clouds.
This week was much needed indeed.
